Self-love is the practice of acting in alignment with your own happiness. It is a topic that people shy away from, as it is often confused with conceit or arrogance. In fact, those two traits can be the first signs of a lack of true self-love. It is not about waking up in the morning with the urge to hug yourself; it is simply the practice of treating yourself and speaking to yourself the same way you would your best friend. #AskJackD
